Areas of Practice: Mr. Oppelt's representation of firm clients primarily focuses on corporate governance, director and officer duties, mergers and conversion, contract review, credit union regulatory matters and crisis management. Mr. Oppelt's practice also includes legal publishing, legal scholarship and advocacy for the credit union industry Education: Mr. Oppelt received his Bachelor of Arts from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia where he majored in Philosophy and graduated Magna Cum Laude. He attended Loyola Law School, Los Angeles, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude and Order of the Coif in 2007. While at Loyola Law School, Mr. Oppelt was the Chief Production Editor of the Loyola of Los Angeles Law Review. He was admitted to the California bar in 2007. Mr. Oppelt's article, The Foundations of Section 1983 Jurisprudence: A Look from The Concept of Law, has been published in the Florida A&M University Law Review. He continues to write and edit for the Loyola Law School Civil Justice Program. Professional & Association Memberships: State Bar of California Biography: Prior to attending law school, Mr. Oppelt worked at a small insurance litigation firm in Atlanta, Georgia. While in law school, he started a small publishing house specializing in literary fiction. He continues to support the arts through underground film and music production.
